As of 22 June 2026 Gpi De Gouwe will continue under the name Gpi Process Technology, marking the next step in the company’s strategic development.
The new name reflects the evolution the company has undergone in recent years: from a machine builder to a specialist in advanced process solutions for the international food industry.
Following the acquisition of Altermij-De Gouwe in 2019, Gpi deliberately retained the De Gouwe name due to its strong market recognition. Since then, the organization has further developed, expanding and deepening its product portfolio, with a strong focus on the processing of high-viscosity food products.
This expertise is reflected in turnkey solutions such as the Batterline, Kelstream and industrial cooking kettles which are used in the production of products including French fries, sauces, ready meals, chocolate and condiments. In addition, a dedicated service organization supports customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their installations.
By combining advanced process technology with comprehensive service capabilities, Gpi Process Technology positions itself as a full-service process partner for the international food industry.
Supporting growth ambitions
“The De Gouwe name has helped us build on a strong foundation,” says Tim de Rooij, Managing Director. “At the same time, our role towards customers has evolved. With Gpi Process Technology, we clearly communicate who we are today and where we add the most value for our customers.”
The name change marks an important milestone in Gpi’s growth ambitions, strengthening its position as a leading partner in process solutions for the international food industry.
What does this mean for customers?
The name change will have no impact on the organization, ongoing projects or existing partnerships. Customers can continue to rely on the same team, quality and service they are familiar with.
